6 Skin Care Resolutions to Make This Year

The New Year means a fresh opportunity to give your skin care routine a much-needed update. Put your skin on the priority list in 2017 and try these easy-to-do skin care resolutions:


  1. Keep your body lotion close to the shower.

You know that moisturizing after a warm shower is a must, but sometimes you just forget. An easy fix: keep your body lotion where you can see it. Seeing it reminds you to apply when your skin is damp, which is within ten minutes of stepping out of the shower. When applied immediately after bathing, your lotion is able to trap some of the water that’s still on your body and use it to hydrate your skin.


  1. Wear sun protection daily.

Skin experts always advise wearing sunscreen daily. The challenge for many women is finding products that offer enough protection but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. Consider using sun care products that protect you from the sun’s harmful rays that but don’t weigh your skin or make your makeup look off.


  1. Wash up after your workout.

It’s great that you have an active lifestyle, but don’t let your skin take a hit. Many are guilty of not washing immediately after a workout, resulting in acne, as well as back acne. If you can’t shower right away, wipe off sweat with a clean towel and change into a clean, dry shirt. When you get home, hop into the shower ASAP.
