Sun + Pollution Proof Celeteque DermoScience

SUN + POLLUTION PROOF CELETEQUE DERMOSCIENCE

The Basics Aren’t Enough.

You follow the basics: eight hours of sleep, a balanced diet, hydration, and a consistent skincare routine. You even apply sunscreen religiously before heading out.

So why does your skin still look tired or dull?

The Invisible Damage You Don’t See Coming

Your skin is under more pressure than you think. Outdoors, it’s exposed to harmful UVA and UVB rays. Indoors, hours spent in front of mean constant exposure to blue light. And all around you, whether you notice or not, are pollutants like PM2.5, ozone, and heavy metals.

These environmental aggressors can penetrate your skin. They cause oxidative stress, a process that damages cells and weakens your skin’s barrier. As a result, you may see signs of aging sooner, even in your 20s and 30s.

Why SPF Isn’t Enough Anymore

You don’t need to overhaul your skincare routine to find the best sunscreen. You just need to level it up with protection that goes beyond SPF because in skincare, what you don’t see can still harm you

Smarter Defense with Céleteque DermoScience™

To help you protect your skin from today’s harsh environment, Céleteque DermoScience™ introduces powerful new additions to its Skin Defense line.

More than face and body sunscreens, they are formulated with UrbanShield7x Technology to help defend against seven major urban skin stressors:

  1. UVA (Ultraviolet A)

UVA rays cause premature aging, wrinkles, and long-term skin damage. Unlike UVB, UVA is present year-round, even on cloudy days, and can pass through windows.

  2. UVB (Ultraviolet B)

UVB rays are medium-wave ultraviolet rays that primarily affect the skin’s outer layers. They’re the main cause of sunburn and can directly damage DNA. UVB intensity varies by season, time of day, and location.

  3. Blue Light

Blue light (also called high-energy visible light or HEV light) is emitted by the sun and digital screens (phones, laptops, TVs). Prolonged exposure can contribute to hyperpigmentation and inflammation by generating oxidative stress in the skin.

  4. Infrared Light

Infrared light is a type of invisible heat energy emitted by the sun and electronic devices. Because it penetrates deeper than UVA and UVB, it may cause thermal damage, collagen breakdown, and increased free radical production, contributing to skin aging over time.

  5. Pollution (PM2.5)

PM2.5 refers to particulate matter smaller than 2.5 microns in diameter, which are tiny pollutants originating from car exhaust, smoke, factories, and urban smog. These particles can cause irritation, inflammation, and premature aging.

  6. Environmental Toxins

These are harmful chemicals and pollutants found in air, water, and the environment. They can weaken the skin’s natural defenses, disrupt cellular function, and accelerate skin damage.

  7. Oxidative Stress

Oxidative stress occurs when there’s an imbalance between free radicals (unstable molecules) and antioxidants in the body. In the skin, this leads to cell damage, collagen breakdown, weakened barrier function, and visible signs of aging such as wrinkles, dullness, and dark spots.

They are also hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and alcohol-free—making them safe for sensitive skin.
